“We are part of the land and the land is part of us. We need to take care of the land. “American Indian people are taught how to listen and work with the animal medicine, Observe nature and work with it. In their Shamanistic basics the belief in Father Sky and Mother Earth is very powerful. We are using the tools that we receive from nature in order to survive.

The teaching includes respect for every living thing. Listening to one another and allowing your own personal growth to be awarded with more responsibilities in your actions.

indian2At the Tal Health and Spirit centre and in our teaching we respect each and every person just for the way they are. We are all unique, we are all children of the creator and we all have an individual purpose in this world. In the meditation, we use the talking staff, which gives the person who holds it, the permission to talk exclusively in the group. We all listen to what you have to say. Sharon often uses her self built drum in order to connect to our inner heart beat. The original white sage is being lit in order to naturalize the energy, and passed around the circle members. And in the meditation we often use the symbolism of the medicine animals to get more insight about our messages.
